Bottled Water Contains Plastic!

Over 250 bottled water samples across nine different countries have been tested, 93% of these showed the water contained tiny particles of plastic in the water. The tests were carried out at the University of New York in Fredonia, here they identified that in every litre of water there was an average of  plastic particles. 54% of plastics found in the water were Polypropylene, which is usually used for bottle caps.
