Glastonbury to ban plastic

The aim for 2018 is to remove all plastic bottles from Glastonbury, the organisers are working closely with their partners to achieve this. The “big project” for 2019 is to ban all plastics from the festival. Water kiosks were already in place four years ago for revellers to re-fill their bottles for free, their website has offered WaterAid bottles for revellers to buy at £10 rather than bottled water.
